The Central Readiness Force dispatched a guided convoy to transport Japanese nationals in Afghanistan. A guided transport team was dispatched with Air Self-Defense Force C-2 transport aircraft (the guided transport team has a transport protection vehicle and a light armored mobile vehicle as shown in the photo). At Kabul Airport, the unit is also responsible for ensuring the safety of evacuees from the terminal to the C-130.
